Local 342 held its Year End Membership Meeting on December 15, 2009 at the Marriott in Long Island. The year end report was given in the form of video documentaries that captured the movement of local 342 throughout the year. They were received with great enthusiasm.
Union Santa made an appearance to assist with a special raffle that surprised over 200 members in 17 shops with Ticketmaster gift cards. Union Santa then made arrangements to visit each of the stores to deliver the gift cards in person.

But Union Santa did not travel alone this year. He brought two of his favorite Reindeer to the meeting! Hundreds of members embraced the holiday season by taking their picture with Union Santa, Donner and Blitzen. Members walked away with a picture keepsake and a treasured memory.
Many Members participated in the Local 342 Toys for Tots Toy Drive by bringing a toy to the meeting. The response was overwhelming! Over 500 toys were collected and distributed to many delighted children in all areas in our communities.
