On March 29th, 2010, the Local 342 Activities Committee, along with volunteer members, and Local 342 Staff participated in Local 342’s annual Easter basket assembly drive. Each year, Local 342 assembles hundreds of Easter baskets filled with treats and toys to donate to children’s charities across the community. This year, members, and staff came to their local area offices in Mineola, Staten Island, Patchogue, and Brooklyn to once again display their unity by contributing to this noble cause. The many volunteers that showed up at each office were a reflection upon Local 342’s continued commitment to supporting and enriching its surrounding neighborhoods.

Local 342 would like to thank the Activities Committee and its volunteer members for their dedication to the Union and their communities. Hundreds of children enjoyed a brighter Easter because of your efforts!
